This year we had even more creative designs for our annual Pumpkin Carving night. The subject matter ranged even more dramatically this time, from the Chronicles of Narnia to a cup of cappuccino and even a pumpkin carving himself! Some even used a drill to make holes in the pumpkin, making a wintery snowflake effect. The night was filled with the fun of looking at each other’s designs, cleaning up messy pumpkin innards, and reveling in the ingenuity that accompanies every pumpkin carving night.

Our designs included a leaf, Snoopy fighting the Red Barron, the self-carving pumpkin, a cappuccino, an owl, a mushroom grove, Mr. Tumnus and Lucy from The Chronicles of Narnia, the names of two pet gerbils, another owl, the Lampost and Wardrobe from The Chronicles of  Narnia, and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
